Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Lunch at Casa Dos Cisnes today, it was fabulous, one of the perks of my job. The house is spectacular, with museum quality art, amazing architecture and design everywhere you look. However the view is even more breathtaking – looking along the south coast to Los Arcos and beyond. As It is July the jungle covered mountains were lush and green and the sky and ocean a brilliant turquoise. Amazingly the staff and meal service was equally spectacular. We had a mixed salad with everything from red and yellow peppers to pink grapefruit sections topped with slices of seasoned grilled chicken breast and served with a perfect homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette and to drink my favorite Jamaica – an iced tea made with the red flowers of the Hibiscus.
The villa owner has recently added an extension to the pool terrace with outdoor space and a covered Bar lounge area – complete with full wet bar amenities including an industrial level ice machine and a big screen TV if you want to catch a Football game or favorite TV show. There is a bar with bar stools and 2 sofas plus a gas BBQ Grill so the staff can grill your lunch or dinner right there for you.
The other new detail is an outdoor gas fireplace on the terrace of the master bedroom, there is a very romantic double lounge chair to enjoy the ocean view or for more cozy evenings the new fireplace.

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Casa Dos Cisnes. Our group was made up of 5 couples. We planned this trip, with the sole purpose of relaxing (kid-free) for a few days, being spoiled, and enjoying our friends. We all have young children, and it had been several years since any of us went anywhere without them. We could not have picked a better spot, or a better villa. The villa was even better than advertised, but the staff is truly what made it special. Chef Martin’s dishes are out of this world with breathtaking meals. The staff is top notch. We had a wonderful time enjoying friends, relaxing in the pool, and indulging in far too many cocktails and wonderful food.
