If you are in Puerto Vallarta today there are several great festivals to attend today. There Is a great block party infront of the main municipal market. The streets are blocked off, there is a large stage and this evening there will be a band, churros and much more as well as street food stands, costumes and some great decorations.
The other great party is the one year anniversary of the Los Muertos Brewing Company the first onsite local brew pub. They also are having a block party and will be blocking off the full block of Calle Constitution from the corner of the cross streets Basillio Badillo to Lazero Cardenas, where they are located at #302 Lazero Cardenas street. The party starts at 5pm with live music, face painting, their specialties Craft Beer and Pizza and of course fun. The proceeds go to a very good cause the center for children with cancer.
The good news is that the 2 parties are only a few blocks apart so you can enjoy both.
The 2nd of November is traditionally the day that families and friends visit the graveyard to visit the gravesites of loved ones. This is a family affair with food and drinks and is more of a celebration of those who are no longer with us.
So if you are in Puerto Vallarta I suggest you start at the main square and check out the amazing Alters as City Hall. Then walk over to Los Muertos Brewing Company and end up at the Festival de Los Muertos infront of the City market.
