World Cup Soccer Fifa. US vs Germany – sorry for the US Team but it was a very close game at 1-zero for Germany. At last the US is catching World Cup Fever, their close neighbors Mexico and Canada who have been huge soccer aficionados (Spanish for Fans)for a long time. The good news is that now the US has the World Cup Fever to the extent that the governor of New York state gave everyone a longer lunch break to watch todays game between the US team and Germany.

Not to mention that the famous little drawing on Google’s front page is soccer related for at least the last 3 days and even changes to new soccer related art several times a day. Somebody at google or maybe everybody at Google has the fever.
I am not your typical sports fan, I do not watch any other televised sports except when forced to – the occasional Hockey game when I am in Canada. Note when you put Hockey in Google only 112,000 hits! That alone tells a story.
However I like Soccer – the game itself moves fast and does not have a lot of tedious rules like American Football (not to be confused with Futball which is the Latin name for Soccer, and so many of the players are really good looking. They could easily be male models, where as while many Hockey players are nice looking the lack of teeth and facial scars will hold back their careers in the modeling world.
