Do you heart New York? Or are you more of a London lover? Whether you are a passionate urban native with local knowledge, once spent a glorious long weekend discovering the gems of the big apple/smoke, or plan to travel to them soon, you’re invited to join our NYC vs. LDN #LPChat on Twitter on Thursday 14 August. Some may say that it’s impossible to compare these iconic cities – and we at Lonely Planet would find it pretty hard to choose between them! – but we’re going to give it a shot. Who will come out on top? That’s up to you.
How do I take part?
1. Follow @lonelyplanet and the hashtag #LPChat on Twitter on Thursday 14 August from 10-11am GMT+1/7-8pm AEST.
2. Questions will be ordered Q1, Q2, Q3 and so on. To answer Q1, begin your tweet with A1. For Q2, begin your answer with A2, and so on.
3. Add #LPChat to all of your tweets during the Twitter chat, so others (including @lonelyplanet) can see what you’re saying.
4. Bring your best travel tales and tips!
5. At the end of the chat @lonelyplanet will tweet an image of each city. RT the image of your favourite city – the city with the most RTs wins.
The most creative and inspiring tweeter will win a Lonely Planet guide of their choice.
