The moment the front doors opened and the House Manager gave us the tour, I knew this was going to be an experience to remember. The main living area was spacious, beautifully decorated and accommodating to a large party. The dining table was large and the meals were exquisite. The infinity pool area was also sizable, well maintained and inviting. As long as anyone of our party was at the villa, this area was occupied. With a view over the infinity pool as beautiful as this one, it was hard not to stay. The game room below it provided another group hangout location with a pool and foosball table. Below that was a small fire pit that gave the children a night to do smores. At the base of the villa was the dock and saltwater pool. Both of these provided a unique experience. The area around the dock made for easy snorkeling and kayaking and a rock-built ocean-filled saltwater pool gave a chance to get away from the standard chlorinated kind. Each bedroom was separated from the next and color coordinated. There were two above the main living space, one adjacent to game room and the remaining next to main house, moving up the landscape in five levels. Not only did this give you privacy, but every room was a unique design. I would come back again just to stay in a different room with a different view. As for the staff, well, I couldn’t have asked for more. Gabriella (house concierge) made sure that everything was up to the group’s liking and helped organize transfers and activities. Miguel (house manager) personalized every request, from getting coffee from the kitchen to getting out the kayaks for the ocean. Ariel bartended and delivered food poolside, and never left you wanting. Housekeeping was timely, efficient and almost invisible. I swear I would go to the kitchen for breakfast, have a drink by the pool and go back to a made bed and clean room. Maybe I was distracted by the view, but they were impressive. As for the chefs, imagine a fancy restaurant preparing meals just for you. They were creative and delicious with an authentic Mexican feel. All in all, this villa made for an experience to remember with a view that is indescribable in it’s beauty. It made an already wonderful Christmas one for the books. *
